Wherever transit is required over ducting, parapet walls, conduit or any roof obstruction a step over unit, freestanding or fixed to the ground, is the safest access available. Complying with the Work at Height Regulations and, where applicable, BS5395: Part 3 step over units give flexible access over a range of widths and heights while keeping the operative safe and enclosed in handrail at all times.

Ideal where access is required with protection around the upper step off point. Upper walkthrough can be incorporated into existing or new handrail systems; this ladder is typically used where access is required to the exterior of a building or to the outside of any structure.

The vertical ladder accessories contain a wide range of accessories that can be added to the ladders. Where a rise is under 3m Companionway ladders (or Ships Ladders) offer an easier to use alternative to Fixed Vertical Ladders. Complying with the recommendations of BS5395: Part 3 Companionway Ladders are fixed to the same high standard and with their sloped, inclined design, provide even more stable secure access while still maintaining the flexibility required to suit most site conditions and locations.
